Which Dreamy World treadmill should you buy?

The short version. Choose the 777A if this is your first treadmill and you will mostly walk and jog. Choose the C19 if you run most days and want a screen worth looking at. Choose the 2080S or the 2080AS for a 6.0HP motor and a 160 kg maximum user weight, where the difference you are really choosing is the screen. Choose the 1981AD if the machine will never get a rest. Those five are compared in full below. The rest of the range is in the grid above, and we will talk you through the details of any of them.

Buying guide Choosing a treadmill

How to choose a treadmill in Nepal

It comes down to three questions. Who is using it, how hard, and where is it going to live? Answer those honestly and the shortlist gets very short. Here is how we walk customers through it.

Motor power

Horsepower decides how the machine copes with running and with heavier users. For walking and the occasional jog, 2.5HP to 4.0HP is plenty, and anything more is money sitting idle. For daily runners, a shared household or a studio, move up to 4.0HP or to an AC motor built to run continuously. The reason to care is heat. A motor working near its limit runs hot, and heat is what kills treadmills.

Running surface and cushioning

A longer, wider belt gives you a natural stride and some room for error when you drift off centre, which you will when you are tired. Multi-layer decks with airbag or spring absorption take the shock your knees would otherwise take. If you run rather than walk, this matters more than the console does.

Incline

Incline is the cheapest way to make a workout harder. Raising the deck a few percent does more for your heart rate than another kilometre per hour, and it does not need a bigger motor. Our treadmills climb to 15% or 18% and adjust from the console while you are on them.

Console and connectivity

Displays run from a plain LCD readout to a full touch screen with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for streaming and syncing to an app. Be honest about what you will use. Plenty of people watch their own phone on a stand and never touch the built-in screen, and that is a perfectly good reason to spend less here and more on the motor.

Folding and floor space

In most Nepali homes this decides the purchase rather than being an afterthought. Foldable frames with transport wheels give you the floor back between sessions. Measure the space with the machine set up, not folded, before you fall in love with a spec sheet.

Warranty, power and support

This is the part a spec sheet cannot tell you, and it decides how long the machine actually lasts. Whether parts exist in the country. Whether anyone will come and fit them. Every Dreamy World treadmill runs on standard 230V mains, carries a three-year household warranty, and is serviced by our own team.

FAQ Treadmills

Common questions.

Which Dreamy World treadmill should I buy?

Start with how often you will run, not with the spec sheet. The 777A has a 2.5HP motor and suits a first treadmill used for walking and steady jogging. The C19 is the one most people settle on for running at home: 4.0HP, 6.0HP at peak, with a 10.1 inch touch screen, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The 2080S and the 2080AS both give you a 6.0HP motor and a 160 kg weight capacity, and the real choice between them is the screen, 10.1 inch or 15.6 inch. The 1981AD has a 7.0HP AC motor and is for a studio, or for a machine that never really gets a rest. Tell us your room and how you train, and we will narrow it to one.

How much does a treadmill cost in Nepal?

We quote on request instead of publishing prices. Import duty and stock levels both move, so any number printed here would be wrong within a few weeks. Price mostly follows the motor and the console: a foldable home treadmill sits well below a commercial machine with a large touch screen. Send us your budget and the size of your room, and we will come back with one model and a delivered price that includes everything.

What motor size do I need?

For walking and light jogging at home, 2.5HP to 4.0HP is plenty. If several people use it every day, or you run properly rather than jog, go to 4.0HP or above. Our 1981AD uses a 7.0HP AC motor built to run all day. The reason motor size matters is heat. A motor working near its limit runs hot, and heat is what kills treadmills.

How much space does a treadmill need?

Measure the machine set up, not folded. Our smallest, the 777A, is about 1.53 m long and 0.69 m wide when assembled. The largest, the 2080AS, is about 1.93 m long and 0.93 m wide. Leave roughly half a metre of clear floor behind it as well, because that is where you step off. Send us your room measurements and we will tell you what fits.

Do you deliver and install treadmills outside Kathmandu?

Yes, in all seven provinces. Our own team carries the machine in, assembles it, levels it against the floor you actually have, and test runs it before leaving. We also show you how the console and the folding mechanism work while someone who knows the machine is still standing there.

Will a treadmill run on normal household power in Nepal?

Yes. Every treadmill we sell runs on standard 230V single-phase mains. For the higher-powered machines we recommend a dedicated socket. If the voltage where you live swings, we will tell you to budget for a stabiliser. We go through all of this with you at installation.

What warranty and after-sales support do you provide?

Treadmills carry a three-year warranty for household use, and the walking pad carries two years. Commercial-use periods are different, and terms and conditions apply. We keep genuine spare parts in Kathmandu. The person who answers your service call works on these machines rather than reading from a script, and we service anywhere in Nepal.

Is a foldable treadmill strong enough for daily running?

Yes. Frames like the 777A and the C19 are built for daily use, with cushioned decks and locks that hold. Folding is about getting your floor back between sessions. It changes nothing about how the machine feels while you are running on it.
